  • Payment: Payment is due at the time of each session. I accept credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards.
  • Cancellations: Please provide 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. You will only be charged the full session fee if we're unable to reschedule for the same week.

Frequently asked questions

How often will we meet?

Most clients find weekly sessions helpful, especially when starting therapy or working through active challenges. As things stabilize, we might move to biweekly sessions. We'll check in regularly about what feels right for you.

How long does therapy take?

There's no set timeline. Some people find a few months helpful for navigating a specific challenge, while others work with me for a year or more. It depends on your goals, the complexity of what you're working through, and what feels right to you. We'll talk openly about progress along the way.

Do you offer sliding scale fees?

Sliding scale fees are available through Open Path Collective. Please mention this when you reach out, and we can discuss what's possible.

Can I use my insurance?

I'm an out-of-network provider, which means I don't bill insurance directly. However, many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits that can partially reimburse you for sessions. I can provide you with a detailed receipt (superbill) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

I recommend calling your insurance company to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits, including your deductible and reimbursement rate for out-of-network therapists.

What about virtual vs. in-person sessions?

Both options are the same rate. Virtual sessions offer flexibility and convenience, while in-person sessions provide a dedicated space away from home. Many clients choose based on their schedule, comfort level, or what's happening in their lives at the time. You're welcome to switch between formats as needed.

Questions about fees or logistics?

If cost is a concern or you're not sure about the details, let's talk. I'm happy to answer questions about fees, insurance, or anything else during a free consultation call.
